What are the benefits of joining a community-based fitness gym?

First and foremost, Fortify Fitness offers the best value for your money, compared to any other type of gym. The primary reason is that we are locally owned and operated, and the goal of the members of our community-based gym is to provide help, support, and encouragement for each other. You’ll find the environment more welcoming and less intimidating.

Further, you’re getting your workouts programmed and lead by a certified coach and expert on a daily basis. Rather than walking into this gym without a plan, we’ve already written one for you and will lead you through it with the group each day!

At the end of each workout, you’ll receive a unique report card that tracks your progress. We also take snapshots of your workout every day and store them in our system. This is nice because it allows you to compare your progression from week to week so that you know when you’re making gains, and when your body may require some recovery.

A community-based group fitness gym is also better for your health than being at home physically inactive. There are many studies that have shown that individuals who exercise with others and share their thoughts are less lonely and suffer from depression less which has a direct link to physical health.

Hi! I’m Sara. I am a long-time long distance runner. I joined CrossFit a few years ago to mix up my fitness routine. I had no idea how much more it would bring to my life – both physical and mental health and friendships to last a lifetime. I love being part of this amazing community and I’m excited to share this passion through coaching. Outside of the gym and off the road, you’ll find me with my two awesome (and very busy!) kids, being an actuary, and traveling whenever I can. CrossFit Level 1 Certification



I have been doing Crossfit for 10 years, getting introduced to CrossFit so early on really got me interested in the fitness world and helping people get better. This is why I got my BS in Kinesiology,

I have been coaching for about 6 years now, a mix of CrossFit, Kettlebells, and Olympic lifting. Being able to help people reach goals is something that brings me joy. Seeing people reach their goals and knowing that I had a hand in it brings a smile to my face. Getting to be a part of people’s fitness journey is always a fun one, and being able to do it with new people will be even better. Can’t wait to meet everyone and hopefully I can help in and out of the gym!

I am a very proud mom of 4 girls. I wholeheartedly believe that fitness is essential to everyone’s mental and physical well-being. Having the opportunity of being a coach has been a long time dream of mine. “When is the last time you tried something for the first time?” 
This is the statement that got me to try CrossFit and ultimately to becoming a CrossFit coach.  It’s never too late to become part of a community that only wants the best for you and has all the tools to help you achieve your goals – big and small.
As much as I enjoy a good workout, even more, I enjoy coaching and seeing members try new things and share in their excitement as they make progress towards their goals.  Fortify has been so good for my well-being and I’d love to share all the benefits with others.
I am a masters-age athlete and coach that knows that Fortify is for everyone.  I look forward to working with current members and welcoming new members to our community.


CrossFit Level 1 Trainer



Sports and fitness has always played an integral role in my life. I spent my life growing up a multiple sport athlete from the pee-wee days through my collegiate years, which were spent rowing at the University of Wisconsin.  I have been part of the functional fitness world for over ten years as an athlete and trainer. My path to becoming a trainer was born of my passion to help people along on their journey to become healthier and realize their goals. One of the best feelings in the world is being witness to individuals achieving something they never thought they could.  

I aim to cultivate a community, through functional fitness, that makes better health and fitness attainable for all walks of life.  I look forward to starting this journey with you.


CrossFit Level 3 Certification
 Bachelors in Exercise Science, Master in Kinesiology, USA Weightlifting, CrossFit Kids, Adaptive CrossFit, Precision Nutrition, Cenegenics Nutrition


Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.


All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
